About

The Regional Nature Park Pfyn-Finges is located in Central Valais between Gampel and Sierre at an altitude of 500 to 4100 metres. Nowhere else in the Alps are there so many impressive, world-famous peaks of over 4000 metres than in the Valais. The Park is named after the Pfynwald natural reserve and Finges is French for Pfyn, meaning pine.
