Located in the heart of the Valais, the Wine Museum comprises two exhibition areas, in Sierre and Salgesch, and a six-kilometre wine trail linking the two sites. In the wine-growing village of Salgesch, the Wine Museum traces the history of this exceptional viticulture, nourished by tradition and passion. The thirteen rooms of the museum present all the facets of a unique heritage: the know-how of the men and women winegrowers, the role of the terroirs, the harvest, the secrets of cellaring and the art of wine tasting. Throughout the year, the museum offers a wide range of events and guided tours for groups.
