Born on the 4th of August 1996, Cheerz is situated on Exchange/Hadden Street, close to the main rail and bus station. It's now been 5 and a half years since Steven Motion and Garry Lindsay took over ownership of Cheerz Bar & Club, Aberdeen's oldest and most established LGBT venue. Since then the venue has improved every day as more and more effort is put into ensuring the best possible night out. Weekly entertainment Tuesdays - Miss Romy Deepcheeks - WEEKLY QUIZ - Free to enter 1st price is £50, 2nd is a 1/2 price wristband to Cheerz Club, 3rd Bottle of wine and also a raffle to play the famous "play your cards right". Wednesdays - Disco Jim, Karaoke and hits Thursdays - Tina Peachez, Student night Fridays - TBIF - Thank Bobbie It's Friday. Bobbie Dazzler gets you in the mood for Friday with the best tunes. Saturdays - Live from 5pm Lisa Gray/Mark Davidson starts your night early with karaoke and tunes till 9pm. Miss Romy Deepcheeks has the most Flamboyant Saturday night out from 9pm, Music from the 60s to 2015's to cater for everyone's needs. Sundays - Cherry Bakewell - Aberdeen's most Famous Drag Queen hosts karaoke and anthems. She knows the essence of a great night out with karaoke and Tunes from 9pm. Monthly Appearances - Scarlett Diamonte and Cherry Bakewell host their monthly show. We are also known for our Free live special Friday night guests from 11pm. World famous Drag Queens from Drag with no name, Scarlett Damonte, Sandra, Vanity Von Glow, Dave Lynn, and Miss Jason, Barbara La Bush, Kara-Van Park, Tina Sparkle and Miss Penny to name but a few. Not only do we have live acts but we are also one of the only bars who manage to put on adult themes musicals and pantomimes with sell out performances. Sinderfella was our first adult pantomime, a show of 9 performers lasting over two hours and selling over 250 tickets at three shows in one day, it was obvious after the great feedback that the next production we had to go bigger. Our next pantomime (Dorothy does Oz) was also a sell out, selling 600 tickets over 5 days doing 6 shows. This was followed by another sell out Xmas production of Peter Pansy, selling 600 tickets. And last but not least our latest, a night at the musicals has just sold 150 tickets for our one off event over two shows! We now move onto rehearsing for our summer musical "Fannie". A professional actor/director with west end credits, a professional musical director and a cast of 14 performers, some with professional experience. We are confident in another 6 show 600 seat sell out. We stock a wide variety of drinks from £1.80, Shots from £1.00. We have a selection of nibbles, pool table, bandits, blow & go and the latest Scotsgay magazines to catch up what's happening in Scottish region ,also free condoms and lube. Free WIFI is also available so you can come in and browse all your favorite web pages for Free. We've been looking further and getting new performers to the bar traveling from Gran Canaria, London and even America. Moving with technology we have now started e-ticketing for live events, established our own website developed by in-house staff that's kept up to date to show upcoming events and more detailed information on Cheerz. We've also done a lot of work on our Facebook page and every day we are posting promotions, events, photos and interacting with our customers. In the past we've hosted events such as 'Prideolicious' which was centered around Aberdeen's last pride weekend and put us right into the heart of the community. As well as this we work continuously with Gay Men's Health (GMH) to ensure the LGBT community of Aberdeen are keep up to date with the importance of safe sex. We cater for hen parties and have even hosted a wedding reception for 2 of our LGBT customers, we provide free venue hire to everyone. Weather it's a group of 20 or a party for 200 for champagne and cocktails or a get together for old friends, we cater for all. Finally we pride ourselves on customer service and giving our customers what they ask for, this could be specific drinks they would like us to stock or certain entertainment they would like.
