Silver Mountain Experience is an 18th‑century silver‑lead mine situated in Ceredigion, Wales, that today serves as an industrial heritage museum and popular tourist attraction. Since its reopening as a museum in 1974, the site has preserved intact mining buildings, machinery and an underground network that visitors can explore on guided tours. In 2012 the mine was rebranded as Silver Mountain Experience, adding new attractions such as the underground horror experience *The Black Chasm* and theatrical storytelling walks that bring Welsh legend to life. The experience offers a blend of authentic mining history, hands‑on exhibits and thrilling adventure, making it suitable for families, history lovers and adventure seekers alike.
