Situated in an unspoilt corner of a Scottish Highland Estate in Royal Deeside are the Cairngorm Bothies – a collection of unique, eco-friendly, off grid wooden cabins designed to let you escape from the pressures of everyday life. With no TV and limited connection to the outside world (there’s 4G in case you can’t switch off completely), get back to nature and embrace the peace and quiet. Each bothy provides comfortable accommodation, ideally for a family of 4 with one UK standard sized double bed and a trundle single bed (2 mattresses 76 cm by 155cm) – typically children of 10 and under. These Bothies have been carefully constructed from eco-friendly and sustainable materials, each bothy fits snugly into its surroundings, minimising its impact on the forest scape and forest floor. Our website and images are to be updated to reflect the addition of the new bothies and the forest landscape since storm Malik in January 2022.
