Ideally positioned between Alnwick and Bamburgh in Northumberland, on the edge of the coastal Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set on an organic farm in the middle of the 2,500 acre historic Fallodon Estate, next to an old water mill and overlooking a burn and lake, with views towards the sea and Beadnell Bay. If you are looking for a large, coastal, self-catering holiday house for a group or an extended family, Brunton House can sleep up to 16, with fabulous entertaining space, 8 generous bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The house and original 4 holiday cottages, Stable Cottage (sleeps 6, dog-friendly), Mill Race (sleeps 4), Brunton Burn (sleeps 2), are graded 5 * Gold by Visit England. In 2023 we launched 4 new properties, Brunton Granary (sleeps 8, dog-friendly), Brunton Lake (sleeps 4, dog-friendly), Swallow Dean (sleeps 2) and Long Byre (sleeps 2, dog-friendly) all of which are anticipated to receive the same VisitEngland grading during our next annual assessment. Elegant interiors; light, bright and incredibly spacious. Superb designer fabrics ensure each room has its own individual charm, with a seamless fusion of classic antique and contemporary items, original artworks, quirky objects d’art, and an extensive library of books. All mod-cons are provided, including superfast dedicated wi-fi, smart TVs in living areas, and additional TVs with Freeview and in bedrooms. Individually themed bedrooms contain roomy superking double beds (19 rooms can be split into twins) with sumptuous feather and down pillows and duvets, and crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen. Luxurious bathrooms provide superb ‘boutique hotel’ style accommodation with fluffy Egyptian cotton towels and luxurious White Company toiletries provided for all guests. The estate is well set up to cater for family and group bookings.
