Sandburne will close its doors on October 23rd due to retirement. Thank you to all who have visited, appreciated and reviewed. Time for a change! The house has a wonderful outlook, offering 2 twin rooms with luxury showers, very spacious accommodation, vegetarian or vegan breakfast, free wifi, ample parking, walks from the door. Sandburne is the former home of Donald Watson, founder of the Vegan Society about whom there is information aplenty. Guests have use of the delightful grounds with abundant birdlife and a number of sitting areas with fell views. There are many walks available from the door; storage for bicycles and plenty of ideas for your days in the Keswick area.
