Giraffe Lodge
About
Giraffe Lodge is a unique glamping retreat that transports guests into an African savannah right in Kent. Eight luxury safari tents, each with en‑suite facilities, heating, Wi‑Fi, and dressing gowns, lie on a 600‑acre reserve home to over 900 animals from 73 species. Guests can arrive any time from 9.30 am to check in, then enjoy a guided safari led by expert rangers that takes visitors through the African Experience zone, where giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and wildebeest roam freely. The stay includes a full English breakfast served at 7.30‑8.30 am and a sumptuous African‑inspired dinner cooked over an open fire pit in the Lapa at 6.00 pm. Tea, coffee facilities, hairdryers, and free Wi‑Fi are provided in every tent, while the private balcony offers panoramic sunrise views over the reserve. Giraffe Lodge opens from April to October, with check‑in starting at 1.30 pm and check‑out at 11 pm. The price starts at £525 per night for two people sharing a tent. Beyond the lodge, guests enjoy unrestricted access to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park from 9.30 am each day, making it a one‑stop wildlife adventure that blends comfort and conservation.
