About

The Spey Bank Studio is an art gallery, shop and pottery in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. As well as showing works by artists inspired by our landscape and wildlife, we host regular classes, teaching people new creative skills. We are based in the beautiful historic town of Grantown-on-Spey, just a short drive from the tourist centre of Aviemore. Our bright spacious gallery is housed in a former high street bank at the centre of the town. Grantown is a vibrant Scottish community, with a host of independent shops - we are also lucky to be surrounded by amazing woodlands. Nature is a major source of inspiration for our work. Our summer exhibition is now on! The Mountains are Calling includes a diverse range of artwork inspired by the Scottish landscape and beyond. Highlights include a look inside a snowhole in the Cairngorms and a brocken spectre on Skye. Our specially selected artists take you on a spectacular tour of some of the country's most distinctive peaks.
