Running between Caernarfon to Porthmadog, just park your car, leave your tent and explore the stunning Snowdonia scenery in style. The spectacular Welsh Highland Railway passes through the magnificent Aberglaslyn Pass and on to Porthmadog in one direction, and takes a dramatic zig-zagging climb through the Snowdonia foothills, before dropping over 650ft to the castle walls at Caernarfon in the opposite direction.
