About

On the foothills of Cader Idris, set in it's own wooded valley, the location of Kings is magnificent. The hostel accommodation offers a great base for walking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, wild swimming, watersports, sight-seeing and just relaxing! Kings is surrounded by Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Open all year round, we are available to sole-use groups (only) of up to 42 people. Facilities include an excellent self-catering kitchen, dining room, lounge, drying room, 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, large bike shed, two car parks and extensive grounds. The picturesque river Gwynant flows through the private garden. Additionally, there is a barbeque area and fire pit for guests' use. The local attractions of Cader Idris, the Mawddach Trail, Coed Y Brenin, Dolgellau and the beautiful sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne are nearby. Slightly further afield are Llyn Tegid/Bala, Snowdon, Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, the Ffestinog and Welsh Highland Railways and Zip World.
