Welcome to Red Lodge Bed and Breakfast, Stanhope. The B&B was shut down over last winter, the previous TripAdvisor page was shut down which deleted the 72 previous reviews, 68 Excellent and 4 Very Good over its previous 4 years of trading. Red Lodge is in the heart of the beautiful Weardale valley which is part of the North Pennines, an area of outstanding natural beauty, popular with cyclists taking part in the coast to coast. The Bed and breakfast is an historic stone built house which was originally part of Stanhope castle, opposite St Thomas’ medieval church and near to the market place with close access to the local amenities. Red Lodge is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy the great outdoors or love to relax in the countryside. Our aim is to offer quality, comfortable accommodation with great locally sourced food.
