The Tan Hill Inn is Britain's highest pub and is situated amid stunning moorland scenery on the North Yorkshire-County Durham border. This account is for accommodation bookings. There is a separate 'Restaurant' account for our food and drink business which offers pub classics and US-style burgers and Grill offerings. The Inn is truly unique, standing in complete splendid isolation and completely off-grid. We generate our own electricity and pump and filter water from our own well. This means even the simplest of guest services can be a challenge. The World Famous Tan Hill Inn is no ordinary pub!
