Tan Hill Inn
About
The Tan Hill Inn is Britain's highest pub and is situated amid stunning moorland scenery on the North Yorkshire-County Durham border. Our menu offers a range of British pub classics such as pies and Yorkshire Puddings, as well as American-style favourites such as burgers. There are Grill offerings of steaks and ribs as well as a Children's menu. We open for breakfast around 8.30am and serve brunch from 10.30am. We do mid-day food from noon through to 20.30pm. We remain open for drinks and seldom close before 11.30pm mid-week and to midnight on weekend and bank holidays. This account is for Restaurant bookings. There is a separate 'Hotel' account for our accommodation business which is nine en - suite bedrooms as well as a wonderful popular party barn we use for weddings and music gigs. Outside we can erect a marquee to hold over 500 people. The Inn is truly unique, standing in complete splendid isolation and completely off-grid. We generate our own electricity and have our own well.
