Step back in time and come aboard the historic steamship SS Freshspring. Explore the ship from engine room to wheelhouse, from captain’s cabin to crew’s mess. The Freshspring is the last of her kind. Discover why, without ships like her, the Royal Navy battleships of World War 2 could never have put to sea. Then don a virtual reality headset and experience our stunning 360° drama to follow our 1940s crew as they make ready to depart on a voyage to Malta. The SS Freshspring is open on Sundays from 11.30am - 4pm. Adults £2.50, children free. Younger children will also enjoy our spot the ship's teddies challenge - and perhaps win a small reward!
