The Round House

The Roundhouse is situated in the idyllic countryside of North Devon. We offer a friendly, family run, Bed & Breakfast (B&B) service. We are ideally located for Exmoor, beaches and beautiful coastal walks. The popular National Trust property, Arlington Court, is within walking distance and Wistlandpound Reservoir is well worth a visit. We have a book of favourite local walks in Loxhore. The Round House is a tastefully converted circa 17th Century barn, set in the idyllic countryside of North Devon. The house is full of character and beautifully decorated and furnished. We gave the house its names because of the lounge, which is round in shape. This is where donkeys were used, walking round in circles, to drive machinery to grind wheat. The house is set in 2 acres of gardens and paddock.
