The Royal Oak is situated centrally in the stunningly pretty, village of Dolton, minutes from Halsdon nature reserve, Dartmoor National Park and the nationally renowned Stafford Moor Coarse Fishery. In rural mid-Devon we also have excellent access to many popular areas for shooting, walking, rambling, cycling and camping. We offer friendly service, thoughtful home-cooked food, enviable clear, crisp and tasty real ales and comfortable refurbished bedrooms - in fact everything you would expect from a much loved traditional, Devon pub. Our food quality is rapidly creating a popular reputation for serving excellent, generously portioned, home-cooked meals. The menu is changed regularly to suit the original and motivated spirit of our chef.
