A welcoming and popular traditional rural British Pub serving the community for 300 years. Comfortable interior with log burners, plus outdoor seating and parking. The Plough closed in 2015 and was rescued by the local community, who bought The Plough, and after extensive refurbishment the pub reopened for customers in Sept 2021, offering good value, high quality pub food with an emphasis on local supply. Offers include vegetarian options & a range of gluten free food & beers, plus a range of low and 0% alcohol beers. Open 6 days a week, Table reservations are highly recommended, especially at weekends and holidays. Reservations can be made by phone, or online via the website. Walkers, cyclists and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Local walks include the Test Way which runs through the pub grounds.
