Somerset Experiences provides exciting and informative tours of the town. They include our Ghostly Frome tour, which is led by the Reverend Joseph Glanvill the Vicar of Frome who died in 1680, and who was a famous witch-finder. There’s also our Foul Frome tour, in which you’ll visit the sites of fatal crimes and infamous robberies, and follow in the footsteps of various infamous local villains. The Taste of Frome’s Pubs Tour combines two of the best things about Frome in one tour - its history and its pubs! See the stunning architecture, and discover the tales of rebellion and murder in this unique medieval town. You also get three stops in historic pubs to enjoy a drink. On our Sense of Place Tour, your guide will explore the origins and folklore of local place names, including buildings, streets and pubs, taking in the development of the English language and the history of the ancient town along the way.
