The Angel is all about a warm welcome, good quality local food and beautiful surroundings and occupies a beautifully restored 17th Century coaching inn, situated in the middle of the Cotswold village of Sherston. We are ideally located for visits to the historic city of Bath, the elegant spa town of Cheltenham and shopping trips to Bristol or Swindon - Sherston is just perfect for a relaxing break. Westonbirt Arboretum, the gardens at Highgrove, the Beaufort Polo Club and the Badminton Estate are on the doorstep and the market towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury, with its historic abbey, are just 6 miles away. Bath is less than 20 miles away. We are normally closed on Christmas day and Boxing day and other opening / closing times may vary around the festive period.
