With a history dating back to 1397, The George is one of Britain’s oldest taverns, offering 14 charming ensuite bedrooms full of original features and the perfect base to explore the village, Bath and the Somerset surroundings. On the menu our focus is seasonal, locally sourced produce and exciting takes on pub classics prepared by one of chefs, Aimie Harley who won Salon Culinaire’s Pub Chef of the Year earlier on this year. Enjoy your food with a cracking selection of award-winning Butcombe beer in our beautiful beer garden, with spectacular views across the surrounding countryside.
