A traditional country pub and restaurant, we serve fresh home made food, all of which is prepared by our in house chef. Many of our dishes are cooked in our rare coal fired oven. We also have our own in house brewery, producing award winning real ales since 1996. Located on the banks of the River Trent, offering superb views of the river, the pub has a firmly established reputation, originally built in 1800s. In the same ownership as the " Famous " Upton Fish & Chip shop, we are also able to offer the best Fish & Chips you will find any where barring our own shop ( Nearly as good as Upton's ! ) .
