SQ Bar & Grill is a modern European restaurant at St Anne's Square in Belfast's new cultural centre, Cathedral Quarter. Its central location - walking distance from the city centre – means it makes an ideal stop off after a day in the city or a trip to Victoria Square shopping centre. Like the rest of the hotel, SQ Bar & Grill is decorated in a modern, minimalist style, but still conveys a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and diners can choose between a table with a view out over Saint Anne's Square, or a booth for a more intimate dining experience. The menu ranges from full dishes like slow roast pork belly with bubble and squeak, or char grilled tuna Niçoise, as well as light snacks like salt and chilli squid or moreish club sandwiches. Traditional dishes, locally sourced ingredients and modern presentation are the strong suits here, and there's also an extensive wine list and a wide range of spirits, beer and cocktails.
