The Ulster Aviation Society (UAS) is a volunteer‑run charitable museum that displays an impressive collection of military and civil aircraft, engines, and aviation artefacts housed in the historic hangars of Long Kesh, Lisburn. Visitors can explore more than 40 authentic aircraft and numerous cockpit sections, many of which invite interaction and are staffed by knowledgeable volunteers. Admission is free, but the society welcomes donations to support the preservation and expansion of its collection. Because volunteer availability and gate access are limited, all visitors must pre‑book their visit through the UAS website; guided tours are typically available on open days and during special events.
