The Famous Alnwick castle is only 25 miles away with its Harry Potter film connection and the Gardens with its Treehouse. Only 10 miles form the Scottish borders with access to Edinburgh only an 1 hours drive away. The nearest village is Lowick which is just under 2 miles away. The village has a grocery store, and two pubs with restaurants, The Black Bull Inn and the White Swan.
