A rural village pub nestled on the Scottish /English borders by the banks of the river Tweed in the village of Horncliffe, the Fishers Arms offers a warm traditional welcome to all our visitors. The Fishers was saved from residential development in 2022 the pub is proudly owned by the local community. Guests who want to explore the area are welcome to book a Bed & Breakfast room to explore the Northumberland coast, have easy train access to Newcastle and Edinburgh and visit the local attractions. The Union Chain Bridge and the Chain Bridge Honey farm are within easy walking distance. NB In January the food offering will be reduced but lunchtime visitors can still enjoy delicious homemade cakes and scones served with tea or Northern Edge coffee, or a hand pulled pint from the First and Last, Firebrick or Cheviot breweries. From February, lunch and evening meals will resume, using seasonal Northumberland produce from local suppliers providing satisfying pub grub and puddings.
