About
Echills Wood Railway is one of the regions popular visitor attractions and carries over 35,000 passengers each year. It is a seven and a quarter inch gauge (track width) miniature railway built and operated by a group of enthusiasts and volunteers. The railway runs a variety of replica standard and narrow gauge steam, diesel, electric locomotives and trams on a 2 km line running through some of the 600 acres of Kingsbury Water Park with its 15 lakes, maturing woodlands and abundant wildlife. Open every Sunday and additional days from March until December, along with Wednesday and Friday during Warwickshire summer school holidays.
