Wolverhampton Art Gallery is a special place. Situated in the heart of the city, the gallery provides a safe and creative space, free of charge for Wolverhampton residents and visitors to share and enjoy. Our programme of exhibitions, events and activities change throughout the year so there is always something new to discover. Inclusive accessible facilities can be found across the venue that include the gallery café, shop, courtyard garden, picnic area and places for creativity, community and contemplation. Housing over 19,000 artworks and objects ranging from items reflecting the Black Country’s manufacturing industries to iconic works by internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. The gallery is now famous for its collection of Pop Art as well as a major collection of works relating to the Troubles of Northern Ireland and one of the most significant collections of works by Black British artists.
