We are open to the Public on Saturdays, Sundays, Monday and Tuesday until the end of October. Visit our website for full details & fees. Our 1939 Air Ministry Hangar will take you back in time to World War Two. Hangar 42 was the first Bellman Hangar erected at RAF Squires Gate, in May 1939, housing Hawker Hurricanes and Boulton Paul Defiants. Operated by Volunteers the exhibits include Mark II, Vb & IX Spitfire's and a Hawker Hurricane MKII and a Bf109e Fighter. Our aircraft are displayed alongside operational RAF Airfield vehicles and equipment. If you are interested in sitting in the cockpit of one of our Spitfire Aircraft, there is an additional fee of £10 (Health T&C's apply). Virtual Reality experiences £5 per session. Regular organised talks throughout the day. Doors Open 10am and last entry is 15:00 for closing at 4pm. Free parking. NO PETS allowed on site. This venue is currently aimed at ages 8 years upwards. Suggested length of visit 2- 3 hours some concession available
