The Cracking Crab is a beach chic seaside restaurant with the best view of the surf in Polzeath and serving everything from coffees and cakes, to seafood platters and all the bits in between. Open for lunch, dinner, teas, coffees and plenty of ice cream throughout the week, The Cracking Crab is a family friendly restaurant where we like to think we have something for everyone. Certainly our dressing up box is a hit with ‘kids’ of all ages. There’s seafood by the bucket load, juicy West Country steaks off the grill and the bar is always fully stocked with chilled craft beers, ciders and wine. Classic foodie favourites include our fruits de mer and popcorn shrimp in the best of Cornish surf style. Meanwhile, our clifftop location makes The Cracking Crab ideal for outdoor lunches or a glass of something crisp at sunset. Evening bookings advised. Last orders 8pm, close at 9pm
