Alderholt Mill is situated on the edge of The New Forest National Park on the Wilts/Hampshire/Dorset borders A working water mill, . We are surrounded by trickling streams formed by the river Allen, a small tributary that joins the River Avon at the nearby town of Fordingbridge. We are dog/ walker/cyclist and fisherman friendly, with private fishing on site we do not recommend for families with children under 8 years. Alderholt Mill is perfectly positioned for exploring Southern England with easy access to Bournemouth, Christchurch, The New Forest, Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester and The Jurassic coast With surrounding attractions such as Beaulieu Motor museum, The Heavy Horse Center, fishing on the River's Stour and Avon, Salisbury & Winchester Cathedrals and Exbury gardens Millers End self-catering cottage is a well equipped and comfortable cottage for two persons there is one double bedroom 4ft 6in double bed (linen supplied) wardrobe, dressing table etc, the small bathroom leading off the bedroom with a bath and a shower over the bath a W.C and wash hand basin the sitting room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and armchairs, smart T.V a large open fireplace with electric log burner, bookcase with a good selection of reading material and CD player Wifi available throughout The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker microwave toaster kettle and fridge freezer and small dinning area Outside there is a large riverside wildlife garden with plenty of seating and BBQ for alfresco dining and plenty of seating just follow the sun
