Bingley's Bistro
About
Bingley's is currently closed for building works. Our aim is to present a consistently high quality of food and beverages, locally sourced where we can. Our menu will change with availability of fresh ingredients. Current supply chain issues do affect our food and beverage service, we may have to adapt or offer alternatives when necessary. We are set in an historic Grade II* listed Tudor building which was once owned by a wealthy merchant, Thomas Byngley, who became Mayor of Poole in 1555, hence our name. The painted ceiling in our dining room is noteworthy and believed to have been painted c.1830. There are pay-and-display car parks in the vicinity; there is a Temporary Traffic Order restricting vehicular access to the Lower High Street 10am-10pm.
