Bournemouth Backpackers Hostel

Bournemouth's original backpacker hostel opened in 1999 and offers budget, youth hostel style, accommodation to foreign visitors, cyclists, ramblers and small groups. We have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere providing a home away from home. The backpackers has a self-catering kitchen and a TV lounge where you can socialise with other guests. The hostel is only a 5 minutes walk from Bournemouth's main train and coach station on the eastern edge of the town centre. We are an 11 minute walk from the clifftop, which overlooks Bournemouth's famous sandy beach. There are regular direct services from the train and coach station to Central London, London (Heathrow Airport), Southampton, Southampton Airport, Winchester, Oxford, Birmingham, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth. Regular local bus services go to other parts of the Town. Cycle hire is also available in town. As we are a very small hostel, with part-time staff, an advance reservation is required.
