Silver in the B&B Inn Award at The 2014 Dorset Tourism Awards, within this 16thC building, the friendly team describe it as a proudly traditional Dorset country Inn used by travellers and locals with all food sourced from within 30 miles. Amongst the wood burning stoves, cosy corners and locals chatter you will find hearty interesting food, lovingly restored bedrooms featuring large beds with snuggly duvets and a choice of pillows and fabulous en-suite bathrooms with powerful showers, some roll-top baths and Bramley products. Alongside the 30 Mile Menu enjoy a local Real Ale, a selection of 11 wines by the glass,a bottle of wine from a small vineyard or a maybe let the hours slip by over The Inns famous small batch gin selection. The Inn at Cranborne is a focal point of the delightful village of Cranborne, set as it is in the heart of Cranborne Chase with its ample opportunities for fishing and shooting. The area is also great for cycling and walking, with the Hardy and Jubilee trails right on our doorstep as well as access to Cranborne Estate walks. Dogs welcome too! It is a short drive to the New Forest, the beautiful Jurassic Coast and the sandy beaches of Bournemouth. Wimborne, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Shaftesbury and many gardens and historic places are within an easy drive.
