Hesketh Farm Park
About
Nestled just outside the picturesque village of Bolton Abbey in the Yorkshire Dales, Hesketh Farm Park offers a quintessential farm experience on 10 acres of rolling countryside. Visitors can stroll among free‑roaming livestock, feed and touch a wide variety of animals—including goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, guinea pigs, and gentle giant tortoises—while learning about sustainable farming practices. The park boasts a large sandpit, pedal tractors for toddlers, a straw maze, a wooden agility course and a double‑zip wire. A cosy café serves homemade sandwiches, sausage rolls, teacakes, biscuits, cakes, and hot & cold drinks, and plenty of picnic tables are available both indoors and outdoors. Accessible pathways, raised toilets, and a wheelchair‑accessible tractor ride make the park welcoming for all visitors.
