The Chequer Inn which has been a landmark for nearly six hundred years and still acts as a very popular meeting place today. The main restaurant serves up locally sourced, country-pub food with an ever changing specials board and traditional roast lunch on Sundays! There are also some lighter options for casual snacking! Alongside this we have fine wines, good local guest ales, open log fires and most importantly a friendly atmosphere!
