Welcome to The Star. Parts of the building date back to the early 1700's, since that time the pub has evolved but maintained its old world charm. This lovely old Steyning pub offers a proper family atmosphere, a great choice of real ales, lagers, spirits and it’s very own “Gin Palace”, along with a specially chosen wine list. The menu consists of homemade foods made from fresh with as much locally sourced ingredients as possible. The Star hosts many events such as quiz & curry nights, live music and various other themed parties throughout the year. There are two beer gardens, one being waterside and then the children's play area complete with Pirate Ship which is ideal for families. The Star is an ideal rest stop for hikers, cyclists and tourists alike who come to enjoy the wonderful countryside that Steyning has to offer.
