Banwell Castle remains very much the Parson’s family home but guests are welcome to stay in this landmark building which is listed grade 2 star, offering bed and breakfast. We are not a hotel. It has a wonderful, friendly ambience being peaceful and romantic. peacocks run free in the grounds with rare sheep, wild deer, badger, pheasants and bats also resident. It is set in 25 acres of gardens and grounds. It has outstanding views south across the Loxton Valley to the Mendip Hills and north across the moors to the Bristol Channel and Welsh hills. The Gatehouse at Banwell Castle Amongst the cluster of outer buildings on the grounds of Banwell castle you will find The Gatehouse and Court Yard, independently run by Carmino Dagostino and his team. Available for private hire, for all family events such as birthday celebrations, anniversaries, christening / naming ceremonies, baby showers, afternoon tea parties, themed parties, and wakes.
