BRISTOL HIGHLIGHTS WALK Discovering about Brunel, Banksy and other street artists, Piracy and Blackbeard, the historic harbour, the merchants of Bristol and the Slave Trade. The walk will take in Millennium Square, Bristol Cathedral, Park Street, street art by Banksy, Denmark Street, the City Centre, the historic port, the old town and markets, the Floating Harbour, Queen Square, King Street and Bristol Bridge. BRISTOL SLAVE TRADE WALK The walk on the Slave Trade and its impact on Bristol, will incorporate the 1,000 year history of Bristol as a port, a summary history of Bristol's participation in the English and British slave trade, and reference to Bristol born Edward Colston, an official of the Royal African Company, and his divisive legacy to Bristol. THE BRISTOL HIGHLIGHTS WALKS RUN EVERY SATURDAY AT 11AM, THE BRISTOL SLAVE TRADE WALKS EVERY SUNDAY AT 12 NOON, BOTH WALKS RUN FROM THE TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE FROM THE BEGINNING OF MARCH TO THE END OF NOVEMBER.
