We are a community run village shop and cafe in Freshford, Somerset. Our shop opens 9 to 5 on weekdays and 9 to 1230 on the weekend and sells a wide range of products including wine. The cafe opens 9 to 3 on weekdays and 9 to 1200 on weekends and offers homemade cakes, pastries, salads, lunches and snacks. The cafe is not open for lunches on the weekend, only snacks. Profits from the shop are given back to the community in the form of grants. The shop itself is run mostly by volunteers and managed by a team of dedicated staff. Just ten miles south of Bath, Freshford has a train station and is a popular destination for walkers. It is also well placed for convenience shopping for drivers on the A36. The premises also has toilets, WiFi, car parking and easy access. The cafe has an outdoor area for enjoying lunch or a snack in the sun. We welcome dogs and there is a lovely playground and small park behind our village hall which is just opposite. Welcome!
