Oakham Treasures
About
Oakham Treasures is one of the largest privately‑owned museums of retail and farming history in the UK. Opened to the public in 2008, it showcases a vast and varied collection that takes visitors through a nostalgic journey from the 20th‑century high street to the golden age of agriculture. The museum recreates an authentic grocery shop, a hardware store, a tyre shop and a tractor and farm museum, all staffed by the owner’s family who passionately curates the displays. In addition to the exhibits, a cosy on‑site café, Acorns Café, offers teas, coffee, homemade cakes and a child‑friendly menu, making it a delightful stop for families and solo travellers alike.
