About
Sugarcane Studio was founded by Taiwanese pastry chef, Fang-Yu Lin in 2018. After several years working in various hotels and patisseries in London and Taipei, Fang-Yu decided to branch out and focus on creating the styles and flavours she loves, with a distinctly Asian twist on traditional French patisserie.We specialise in macarons, choux buns, and a variety of matcha, black sesame and tea-inspired desserts, and our ever-growing array of flavours is a testament to our passion for building on tried-and-tested tastes, and experimenting with new, more exotic ones. We have won a variety of awards for our products, including 1 and 2 star awards from the Guild of Fine Food in 2020, 2021 and 2023 and category winners in the 2021 and 2023 Great British Food Awards. Our patisserie is located just round the corner from the picturesque Pulteney Bridge in Bath and we also offer an interesting selection of drinks and locally roasted coffee to accompany your sweet treats.
