NEW OWNERSHIP JULY '23 Here at The Clifton, we serve good quality food and drinks in relaxed and informal surroundings. Our pub is a thriving local watering hole that has been keeping locals’ thirst at bay for many years. We still do exactly that, with great ales, interesting wines, homemade seasonal drinks and delicious bar snacks. Alongside the bar, we offer a daily changing, seasonal menu in our dining rooms. Head Chef Cory was Tom’s Sous Chef at the Hare & Hounds, and offers his own style here at The Clifton. We’ve had a custom made Parrilla Grill built, so Cory is cooking over fire, with big focus on sharing and feasting dishes. We aim to build strong relationships with artisan suppliers in the surrounding Bristol area, as well as using produce from our own smallholding. As with our other pubs, seasonality is at the heart of what we do, and the focus is on short supply chains. The food ethos echos ‘Nose to Tail’ British cooking, with the influence of the wood fire.
