The Garricks
About
The Garricks Head sits proudly beside Bath’s historic Theatre Royal in a magnificent Georgian building that has welcomed guests since the 18th century. From the moment you step inside you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere, a toast of our exclusive house ale and the familiar aromas of freshly‑made pub classics. Our menu celebrates modern British cuisine, with seasonal ingredients and vegetarian friendly options, all crafted in our on‑site kitchen. Our bar boasts a selection of local ales, international beers and spirits, including an impressive range of 20 wines by the glass and a curated whiskey list. The highlight of the evening is surely our house ale, brewed by Danish master brewer Stig Anker Andersen, which delivers a distinctive taste that complements both our hearty dishes and lighter fare. Whether you’re looking for a casual lunch, a family‑friendly dinner, or a quick pre‑theatre bite, the Garricks Head offers indoor dining, a cosy terrace with floral displays, and a welcoming outdoor setting that’s also dog‑friendly. In the evenings, we welcome guests to enjoy cocktails, craft beer, and a relaxed atmosphere in our historic setting. While the pub is open from 10 am to 9 pm daily, we strongly recommend booking a table, especially on weekends, to ensure you secure a spot in our popular indoor and outdoor seating areas.
