About
The Stradling Collection is a remarkable collection of C20th and C21st design and applied arts, containing almost 2000 pieces of studio ceramics, glass furniture and decorative objects. Our exhibition 'Electricity: Emancipating Women’ is our contribution to the centenary of the founding of the Electrical Association for Women. It features the 1935 All-Electric House in Bristol which demonstrated the transformative power of electricity, freeing women from domestic drudgery and allowing them to pursue employment and career opportunities.
