The White Stag Inn is located in the picturesque Highland village of Strathyre within the Queen Elizabeth Forest, forming part of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Located on the A84 'Road to the Isles' just 1hour & 40mins to Oban for the ferries to the Hebrides, The Inn is an excellent stop off point for a comfortable bed and a relaxed meal. If you are walking the Rob Roy Way, The White Stag Inn is the perfect halfway point between Killin & Aberfoyle, so you might well meet other walkers who may be warming themselves by the fire in the colder months, or relaxing on the benches out the front during the summer. From The Inn there is easy access to the hills with numerous spectacular walks for all abilities, plus traffic-free cycle-ways (the Sustrans National Cycle Route 7 is on our doorstep) with golf, fishing and water sports all within easy reach to ensure that the enthusiasts amongst you are not disappointed.
