We are an independent traditional English pub catering for a wide variety of people. Our reputation for Real Ale, Cider and World Beers is one of the most formidable in Cambridge. We have a vibrant atmosphere so booking at weekends is very much advisable if you want to have a full evening's food and drink. Whilst not a restaurant or chain pub we are able to accommodate most requirements in terms of managing intolerances in full compliance with allergy legislation. We welcome well-behaved children but request that they remain seated away from the bar inside or fully supervised at all times in the garden. Dogs are welcome but must be held on short leads, even in the garden. Our menu is simple (usually 3 or 4 mains with 1 or 2 starters) and popular with a very mixed clientele.
