About

The Tack Room Restaurant features the Best of British produce, showcasing seasonal and local produce where possible. Throughout the summer, the outdoor terrace in the Kings Yard provides the perfect space to dine alfresco whilst enjoying our great selection of wines and cocktails. The Tack Room is accessible to all the public, not just the National Horse Racing Museum ticket holders, and can be accessed via large gates on Palace Street, Newmarket. Dandelion Events are also professional event and party planners, working alongside Dandelion Catering, to create events spanning across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Essex and London. Seating accommodates up to 62 people inside and during the summer months, further tables are available in the beautiful King’s Yard that once stabled Charles II’s horses. The Tack Room gets its name from the original use of the building when Bruce Hobbs occupied it in the 1980s. With views into the Rothschild Yard – stabling up to eight former racehorses
