Heaneys Restaurant opened in October 2018 in the heart of Pontcanna, Cardiff. Founded by Tommy and his partner Nikki, the family‑run eatery offers a relaxed and accessible dining experience that reflects the owners’ own love for a convivial meal. With a seasonally driven menu, Heaneys focuses on local produce sourced from nearby farms and grown in their own ‘Chef’s Garden’, ensuring every dish is fresh, vibrant and flavourful. The restaurant offers an affordable five‑course lunch menu and a flagship tasting menu, with each plate crafted to showcase the best of contemporary Welsh cooking. Complementing the main dining room is the adjacent Uisce Bar, a small, dog‑friendly venue serving freshly shucked oysters, a curated coffee and wine list, and a daily happy hour from 5:30‑6:30 pm.
