Mountain View Ranch is a sprawling 120‑acre adventure park set on Caerphilly Mountain, just a short drive from Cardiff. Guests begin with the world‑first official Gruffalo Trail in Wales, followed by a fairy forest, hidden treehouses, jumping pillows, soft archery and thrilling tree swings. A map is handed out at the entrance and visitors collect stamps as they wander through the woodland. The on‑site coffee shop offers local coffee, hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice‑cream and light snacks – picnic food is encouraged. The whole park is pushchair‑accessible, dogs are welcome on a short lead with free waste bags provided, and the ranch hosts regular seasonal events such as Halloween Half Term and live storytelling. School trips receive special rates (£7.50 per child, £5.00 per parent, staff free). While walk‑ins are typically accepted, visitors are encouraged to book via the official website to secure a spot. Open daily from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm.
